Thanksgiving Network
Stand together in Christ
As no man is an island on his own, and as iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens another. But if the iron is blunt, and we do not sharpen the edge, he must use more strength. But wisdom helps us to succeed because we are strong together.
OUR VISION
TGN was birthed out of the need to make bigger, better networks in and amongst the body of Christ. We are stronger together and there is a real need to collaborate and encourage each other as we go around making disciples of all nations. This is the mandate and commision that our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ gave us after all.
To that end Thanksgiving Network was formed as a way to make pathways for everyone in all of the fivefold ministries to get together and find equipping and motivation amongst our peers. We aim to provide support for ministries and those who serve with opportunities to network and collaborate for the glory of the kingdom. In the long term this would include resourcing each other by tapping into the network as it grows.
We invite every Shepherd, Teacher, Prophet, Apostle and Evangelist who seeks to not only learn but also to impart and empower to this network. Here you will find comrades , fellowship as well as love amongst the brethren. Feel free to grow and be established amongst your own kind.

Love is the principal thing, and out of it flows everything else. So it is one of the cornerstones of what we are building into the foundations of this network. Out of this flows our communion and fellowship with everyone else.
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ

Our aim is to tap into the fivefold ministry, to create a vast network of equipped kingdom people.
Utilizing gifts that the Lord through His grace gave to organise and mobilise those who would go out on mission to spread the good news of redemption through the work of the cross.

Leadership is key to gaining perspective to complete what has been started. It is an attributes Christ showed in abundance. Leadership is another foundational principle baked into our DNA. Out of it flows Integrity and focus for our Mission ahead.
THE PURPOSE OF THE ECCLESIA
To obey the Word as it was given to us in scripture as a measure of discipleship (John 8:31).
To teach those who believe according to what Jesus Christ instructed through the word and the Holy Spirit to His Apostles according to his Word (Colossians 2:6-8).
To worship God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and to do so in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
To build up the Church of Jesus Christ through the teaching of the Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:11-16; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Corinthians 12:4-7).
To increase Christian faithfulness “as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Peter 4:10).
To encourage individual Christians toward attaining the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13).
To be ambassadors of Christ in our community, and unto the nations, and to lead men and women to faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, making disciples of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20-21; Matthew 28:19-20; John 3:16).
Life.Truth.Freedom!
Life is given to us in abundance ,so we live it fully in the knowledge of our Lord. As lively stones we take every opportunity to celebrate through worship, because the Truth that comes with life in Christ brings forth Freedom.

WE BELIEVE that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three Persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.
WE BELIEVE that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice.
WE BELIEVE in God The Father, an infinite personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, the incarnate God, who in His incarnation was conceived by the Holy Spirit. I believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and His personal, visible return to earth.
WE BELIEVE in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ. I believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the Biblical gifts of the Spirit.
WE BELIEVE that all people are sinners by nature and choice and therefore, are under condemnation; that God regenerates by the Holy Spirit those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord; that Jesus Christ baptizes the seeking believer with the Holy Spirit, empowering them for service.
WE BELIEVE in the universal Church, the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons are members.
WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the Church: 1) water baptism, and 2) the Lord’s Supper. I believe in baptism by immersion on the basis of a credible profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and in communion open to all believers.
WE BELIEVE in the laying on of hands for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, for ordination of pastors, elders, and deacons, and for the receiving of gifts of the Spirit and of healing.
WE BELIEVE in the personal, visible return of Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, and eternal blessing of the righteous, and the endless judgment of all those not rescued by the work of Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE in what is termed “The Apostle’s Creed” as embodying fundamental facts of the Christian faith.
